AI in recruitment is moving fast, and the ATS stands at the frontline of this development. In this 45-minute session we will look at where recruitment technology is heading, what the EU AI Act means for it, the use cases set to grow, and which trends to steer clear of. Free to attend, and the recording is sent to every registrant.

AI development in recruitment is moving fast, and the recruitment softwares most teams work in every day is about to change with it. Features that sounded like roadmap material a year ago are shipping now, and the rules around them are arriving at the same time: the EU AI Act classifies most AI used in hiring as high-risk.
So where is the ATS heading? In this 45-minute webinar, Oskari Valkama (Head of Product at TalentAdore) and Janne Malmisaari (Marketing Manager and a former recruiter) look at where AI will take recruitment technology next. We'll go through the use cases worth your attention, what a recruiter's day starts to look like, and the trends you're better off skipping.
Recruitment software is slowly moving from screens full of filters and tabs towards conversation. You ask your ATS a question and get the answer, or the task done. Open standards such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) let AI assistants connect to your recruitment data and tools directly, which means far less manual clicking and searching.
For recruiters, that changes the job. More of the routine work goes to AI agents you oversee, and more of your time goes to what only a person can do: talking to candidates, advising hiring managers and making the final calls. We'll talk about what that shift looks like in practice and how to prepare for it.
A few AI use cases in recruitment are moving from experiments to everyday features, and we'll look at concrere examples like skills matching, AI sourcing and predictive analytics.
Not every AI idea belongs in your hiring process. Some are prohibited under the EU AI Act, such as emotion recognition in the workplace. Others are allowed but still a poor bet: letting AI decide who moves forward or replacing the first human conversation with an AI interview (in our June webinar poll, attendees rated that idea 2.0 out of 5). We'll cover how to tell useful from risky, and how to protect candidate trust along the way.
